PRINT DETAILS
My prints are outsourced to a professional printing company to ensure high-quality, professional products.
The majority of my standard (8x10) and mini (4x6) prints are printed on E-Surface photographic paper (Fuji Crystal Archive Digital), the gold-standard paper for color accuracy, realistic saturation, and state-of-the-art image stability. It is a semi-gloss paper with a Certified Standard Archival Value of 100 years in home display (200 years in dark storage). Lustre coating protects against UV exposure while adding a satin sheen and modest texture without the added glare of a glossy print.
Advantages of lustre photo prints: colorful semi-gloss finish with sleek matte look, soft texture with professional feel, can be viewed from various angles without harsh reflections often seen in glossy prints, subtle tones, fingerprint + scratch + stain + smudge resistant, accurate skin tones, enhance fine details and contrast (especially in black and white photos).
Lustre prints can come at a higher price point, but they are my preferred choice for their beauty, durability, and timeless quality. A lustre photo finish sits nicely between glossy and matte. It uniquely delivers the best of both worlds, mixing the rich colors of glossy prints with the beautiful textures and smooth tones typically associated with matte prints. While my prints may come at a slightly higher price point, you are receiving a premium, lasting piece of art that will withstand the test of time (plus they look real pretty).
Occasionally I will offer hand-numbered and signed large format prints of certain photographs or art pieces; these limited edition prints may vary in printing materials. Their specific product details and materials will always be listed and specified in their item description!
