My set-up:

I use C-41 chemicals (developer, blix and stabilizer), Kodak Photo-Flo 200, and a CanoScan 9000F Mark II. I can process any color negative film and also develop Kodak Vision 3. Currently I am not developing black and white film at home.

Current turn-around time for film is around 5-7 business days.

SERVICES OFFERED:

Film photography never left, but it’s certainly been regaining popularity lately! With that being said, if you are interested in getting your 35mm film developed locally or you want to learn more about film photography + film developing, you’ve come to the right place!

FILM DEVELOPING - $15/roll
*includes cut negatives and 600dpi digital scans
+ $5 if you want sprocket holes included in the scans

FILM PHOTOGRAPHY LESSONS - $60
Got a film camera but don’t know how to use it? First, I always recommend going online, finding its manual, then reading through every single page. If that doesn’t help, let me teach and show you things! I have a multitude of vintage film photography books I can lend out too!
Every lesson includes: 30 minute sit down at a location of your choice to discuss film photography basics, go over your camera, and answer and questions you might have. 30 minutes of shooting around the location where I’m available to answer any questions and help you with camera settings + composing photographs.
*please note that location must be within 30 miles of gainesville, ga.

FILM DEVELOPING LESSONS - starting at $70
If you’ve bought your own chemicals and want to learn how to use them, let me help! Or if you don’t have the funds to invest in a home lab right now, let me bring mine to you! Developing C-41 film can be a little daunting at first, but once you get the mechanics down, it’s super simple! I can supply the following equipment for no additional fees: paterson film tank, film canister opener, film changing bag, lab thermometer, gloves, and measuring equipment. If you need to use my photo chemicals, please add an additional $10.
Every lesson includes: a rundown of the chemicals used + their functions, step-by-step instructions on how to take film out of a canister, thread film on a film reel, and develop film. At the end of the lesson, you will have a fully developed strip of negatives!
*location MUST have adequate ventilation and running water (I develop my film in my bathtub at home).
